Frequently asked questions about WOYM
Can I share my entries with others?
Yes! You can share any journal entry via email directly from the app. WOYM remembers your "previously shared with" contacts, so sharing with the same people again is quick and easy.
What devices can I use WOYM on?
WOYM is available on iOS and as a web app you can access from any browser. An Android app is coming soon.
Can anyone else read my journals?
No. Your journal entries are encrypted and completely private. Not even the developers can read them. Only you have access to your entries unless you explicitly choose to share one.
Can I export my entries?
Yes! You can export your journal entries in both plain text and Markdown formats, so you always have a portable copy of your writing.
Can I add photos, videos, and audio?
Absolutely. WOYM supports photos, videos, and audio recordings in your entries. The free plan includes 50MB of media storage. The Lifetime plan gives you unlimited storage.
Can I add location to entries?
Yes. WOYM can auto-detect your city when you create an entry, and you can edit the location at any time. Your entries appear on a map view so you can revisit memories by place.
Can I edit the date of my entry?
Yes. You can change the date of any entry after creating it, which is useful if you want to backdate a journal entry or correct a mistake.
