Is WOYM free?
Yes! You get unlimited free journal entries forever, with photos, videos and audio, kept on your phone. Premium backs your journal up and syncs it across your devices and the web, and adds sharing, import and the AI features; on iPhone, Yearly starts with 3 days free.
Do I need an account?
No. Open the app and start writing; your journal stays on your phone. With Premium, turn on cloud sync in Settings to back it up and use it on your other devices and the web. Everything you wrote before comes with you.
How does WOYM help me build discipline?
Add daily or weekly habits and tick them off each day, keep one-off todos with an optional reminder, and watch your writing streak grow. A daily reminder nudges you to journal, and if your streak is about to end, WOYM lets you know at 9 PM, so showing up becomes a habit too.
Can I track my mood?
Yes. Pick a mood for each entry, then look back on the calendar to see how your days have really been. Morning and evening prompts help when you don't know where to start.
Is my journal private?
Yes. Only you can read your journal unless you choose to share an entry, and on the free plan it never leaves your phone. Turn on App Lock to open WOYM with Face ID, your fingerprint or your passcode.
Can I share entries with others?
Yes, with Premium. Type in their email and they'll receive your entry in WOYM (they need cloud sync on). You'll see when they've read it, and WOYM remembers who you've shared with, so it gets faster over time.
Does WOYM work offline?
Yes. Write anytime, even on a plane. With cloud sync on (Premium), your entries sync as soon as you're back online.
What if I delete an entry by mistake?
Deleted entries stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days, so you can restore them from Settings.
Can I tag my entries?
Yes! You can add tags to any entry. Searching and filtering through tags is quick and easy, so you can organize your journal however you like.
Can I see my entries on a map?
Yes. WOYM auto-detects your location when you write an entry, and the map in Memories shows where you wrote each month, so you can revisit memories by place.
Can I import entries from Apple Journal or Notion?
Yes, with Premium. Export your entries from Apple Journal on your iPhone, then use the import option in Settings on woym.app to bring everything over — entries, photos, and audio included. Notion journals come across too, with their formatting and images.
