Import your Obsidian journal into WOYM
Turn your Obsidian notes into journal entries, with their formatting, pictures and dates. There is nothing to export: WOYM reads the vault folder itself, and running it twice never makes copies.
Find your vault folder
An Obsidian vault is an ordinary folder of notes on your computer. To find it, right-click any note in Obsidian's file list and choose Reveal in Finder, or Show in system explorer on Windows. The vault is the folder named after it.
Keep your journal in its own folder, like Daily? You can choose just that folder in the next step.
Choose the folder in WOYM
Sign in at woym.app on a computer, open Settings, then Import Entries. Click Import from Obsidian and pick the folder. Your browser may ask whether to upload the files: they are read on your computer, and only your notes and their pictures are saved to WOYM.
Import is part of WOYM Premium. New to WOYM? Create an account first, then choose a plan.
Keep the tab open until it finishes
WOYM turns each note into an entry, then uploads its pictures and recordings. When it is done you see how many notes came across, and which were skipped and why.
